Reviewer: Angel Brewer Overall Rating: 4 ½ Hearts Sensuality Rating: Very Sensual An interesting tale of old love found again, this book is intriguing and takes readers on an emotional roller coaster. Andy has to deal with past feelings in order to move forward and Jack has to show her that he always had strong feelings for her. Can this couple finally find happiness? Mlyn Hurn has created another story that will stick with readers long after it is over and is sure to go on the keeper shelf.
Romance Readers Connection

Reviewer: Thia McClain Rating: 3 flowers There is much more to this tale than love and sex. There is a finding of trust and self, mixed in with some truly sizzling chemistry. However, don't let the title fool you. I was expecting much more BDSM between the lead characters and found there to only be a tiny taste in comparison to the overall story. There are some exceptional scenes involving the lifestyle, but our leads are merely observers, not players. This un-met expectation is the only reason that the rating is not higher.

Reviewer: Keely Rating: 4 In Voyage to Submission, Ms. Hurn has skillfully created a comfortable, educational environment for her characters to run amuck in and taught the reader just how delicious that can be. Ms. Hurn has taught me a lot about the world of BDSM as I wonder through these pages; yet that education did not in any manner detract from the delightful tale unfolding before me regarding Jack and Andrea. If anything, it whets my appetite for more of this rich little bon-bon and helps me to better appreciate the tale. This is one of those books that can be equally enjoyed by both the novice and experienced readers of the BDSM genre. Ms. Hurn has honestly created a delectable little morsel in which we may all indulge. I look forward to more tidbits from this talented author.

Reviewer: Candy Rating: 4 This is a very light hearted story. The BDSM scenes are very mild and the sex is hot. The romance between Andrea and Jack is a regular roller coaster ride. Just when it looks like they are going to admit their feelings for each other, something happens to force them apart. This is a sweet story with some truly funny scenes. I enjoyed the story and would like to read more by this author in the future.

Voyage to Submission is a journey of the senses. Mlyn Hurn’s extensive knowledge of the D/s lifestyle coupled with her compelling characters makes for a great read. Jack and Andy light sparks off each other while the secondary cast of characters provides for lots of embarrassing moments, humorous spots, and of course, reminiscences. Ms. Hurn flashes back and forth from the present to the past with an ease and clarity that should be applauded. The reader won’t get lost during the flashbacks. Andy’s exploration of herself is the best part of the story. Andy starts off a bit straight-laced but by the end of the novel, there is no corner of her heart left undiscovered. Jack certainly plays a part in her self-discovery, but it proves to be Andy’s own curiosity and zest for life that brings about the most changes.
Voyage to Submission is an exciting read that won’t leave you disappointed. Mlyn Hurn has captured a new fan with this story.

The lovemaking is hot and emotionally felt. I could feel for all the characters and wished the book didn’t end. I would definitely read another by this author!
Cupid’s Library Review

Reviewer: Birka Cupid Plot Factor: 4 Cupid Pleasure Factor: 3 ½ This was my first book by Mlyn Hurn and I really liked how she has interwoven Andy's and Jack's romance with interesting memorable side characters and a casual introduction to the BDSM lifestyle. I especially liked the butler Rick and his fiancée and would love to read more about them. This wasn't really a fast paced story but due to the secondary characters it never got boring.
The title of this book was a little bit misleading, as it suggests that the BDSM theme would be a major part of the story. But it was more like Love Boat - with the exception that instead of sightseeing different destinations, the guests attend lectures, parties and demonstrations of the BDSM lifestyle.

Reviewer: Nancy Jackson, May 2005 Rating: 4
The author paints a bevy of heated erotic scenes, guaranteed to ignite the passion into any adventurous relationship. Each character is introduced with a magnitude of flaws and unique traits, from subtle to downright scandalous. I found myself easily falling into Andrea’s high-heel shoes with her fighting insecurities. Engaging dialogue between her and Jack proved a comfortable mix of naughty fun and insightful seriousness. From sensual to offbeat, Voyage to Submission will have you wanting to book a cruise for your next escapade.
