Reviewer: Amelia R

“In this anthology, CROWN JEWELS, we are treated to three stories where one of the main characters is royalty. We visit futuristic worlds, a medieval-like setting, and one modern castle. We read of how those with royal blood have the same feelings as those under their rule. All they really want is to be loved for themselves.”

THE MAN WHO SHOULD BE KING by Mlyn Hurn

“What a enchanting tale! …Delightful main and secondary characters. Their dialogue is clever, with just the right touch of humor. The scenes with the dragons were priceless.”4 ½ Stars

Man Who Should Be King – Mlyn Hurn

 Futuristic Fantasy

Man Who Should Be King is a whimsical, amusing tale. The sexual tension between Marcus and Syranna is palatable. Reading how these two strong willed, stubborn people try to outwit each other, had me in stitches. Filled with wizards, magic and dragons galore, Ms. Hurn’s Man Who Should Be King was a delight to read.

Crown Jewels is an enjoyable anthology. Story wise, each tale is set in a different era, but each woman maintains her strength while finding her way to the man with whom she will ultimately find love with. Ms. Hurn, Ms. Kingston and Ms Andre collectively brings together reads that each contains a BDSM edge to them and makes Crown Jewels an anthology that flows smoothly from one story to the next.

The Man Who should be King - Mlyn Hurn

This is a well-written story. I was particularly captivated by the wonderful descriptions of Syranna's dragons.

Overall, this fairy tale anthology involving princesses is really good and I recommend it highly. It has a great mix of humor, magic, sex, and of course -- love. I will definitely be reading further works by these authors.
